Living room faux fireplace
Bought an old mantle, added a wider shelf (came from an old garden bench) Found the metal plaque at a yard sale. The round brass things are old chemistry signs from a French flea market. have had them for years....I am not sure what the piece at the bottom is but I bought it in San Francisco from a yummy French fellow who has a delicous warehouse filled to the rafters wiht things he brings from France. I did a story on his house in last month issue (June-July 2007) of Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion. It's titled FRENCH TWIST.
