Thank you to all for your excitement about
ROMANTIC PRAIRIE STYLE
and for the numerous emails and comments regarding subscription availability. I am happy to let you know that subscription cards (for both domestic and international subscriptions)will be inserted in the premiere issue but for those of you who don't want to wait until then you can email
subscriptions@harris-pub.com or call 212-462-9525
Meanwhile, I thought you might enjoy another little peek into the upcoming issue......
By the way, in case it's not clear on the page above, the little heart next to my signature is made from 2 intertwined horseshoes, symbolic of prairie.....at least in my (weird) little mind!
Below is only one part of what you will find in the premiere issue (can't tell you everything!).....but there is a LOT more........
Something tells me that this bunny with cheesecake, and the chicken dish, below, will wet your appetite for more recipes from The Prairie Pantry section.....
Keep your eyes open for the magazine debut.....almost here....another week.....check out all the usual bookstores, drugstores, grocery stores........

Speaking on food, my friends
have added a wonderful cafe in their glorious shop. Make sure to stop by and enjoy a cappuccino and sample some of their incredible array of homemade pastries
Ok, I will end with the introduction page to the home section of Romantic Prairie Style
Take a look at this so very French cat...

Fifi, I just love what you've written of your heart behind this magazine...it is so true to my heart. My roots are of the prairie, the Southwest Nebraska plains to be exact. My most inspirational person is my Great Grandmother who birthed 15 children(4 sets of twins) while living in a barn for the beginning of her family life. She lived to be 91, independently until 89, in her wee farmhouse where she still fried chicken and baked her own pies. I have named my vintage travel trailer after her ~ Nora Pearl(www.vintagecottagecamper.blogspot.com) I so look forward to getting the first issue of Romantic Prairie and then subscribing to it. ox

I'm anxiously awaiting the first issue of "Romantic Prairie Style" and will be subscribing, for sure. By the way, I love your 'assistants' -- they look like a very hard-working group (lol). Also, thank you for the cat video. I watched it twice and laughed so hard I had tears running down my face.

OK,I'm confused. I'd love to subscribe to this, and to get a subscription for my sister, but I'm unclear on how to do this; wouldn't it be simple just be a PayPal link? Above, it says subscription cards will be in the first issue - but how do I get the first issue?!? Do I just look for it to arrive in a bookstore? Maybe I'm missing something obvious here, but I'm frustrated!

Dearest Fifi,
Got behind due to not having a modem for 4 days but it is refreshing to read your mention of 'Back to Basic' movement. In 2009 I choose my business name for that purpose: Mariette's Back to Basics. Doing things the Grand Mère style. That's what I so love about your writing.
Le chat Jezebel is hilarious!
Love to you,
Mariette

Love the sneak peeks, Fifi and the horse shoe heart. Have some real horse shoes from my Grandpa's cabin here, maybe will place them in a heart shape while gardening today & of course, think of you.
I'm on my way to walk the town and check our locals stores... hoping one of the stores has the magazine today (I check EVERY week ;)
Love from here, dear Princess

Dearest Fifi,
Romantic Praire Sytle is the best magazine to come out in a long time. Its absolutely beautiful, the photographs are simply amazing, all the articles are so unique, and your little cottage (garage redo) is simply outstanding. I am so happy for you. You have worked so hard for a long time. I am excited to see your dreams come true with your books and now this magazine. You deserve all the wonderful things that have happened to you these past few years.
I so enjoyed your pictures of the animals in your magazine - I fell in love with the Babydoll sheep. The flowers were awesome too. Can't wait to get the next issue.
The cat video was so neat. It sounds wonderful in French.
Hugs,

Fifi-
Just found your new magazine today at the local market. I have to say, wow! It is a huge issue! There is obviously a tremendous amount of work that went into this baby. I especially loved your update on your own home. I knew immediately in looking at the photos before I even read the article that it was your little cottage... I really liked the little hanging fixture with the peat moss and bell jars. Very country. Regards, Andrea B.

How exciting! I don't know if I will see it on the news stands up here in British Columbia. If not, I will look in June when I visit WA. In the meantime, I've entered a draw at Mary's A Breath of Fresh Air! Congratulations on the culmination of all your dreams and hard work.

I will be looking for this, esp since I actually live on a farm in ND, and use an actual old church building for my studio!

Fifi, the magazine is just fantastic! I have read it front to back and just love how each home featured was so beautifully written about, styled and photographed. I like that you have featured different styles of Romantic Prairie. Each home is so striking! The quality of the magazine is superb, too. And I have to tell you that it made my day to see the "I Love Paris" pillow that I made in the bowl with the yarn. **insert a giggle here!**
Keep up the amazing work that you do!! You are brilliant!!!! Really, you are!!

I bought my self a Mother's day gift......Romantic Prairie magazine. The lifestyle is so dear to my heart. I am living my own Romantic Prairie dream. I just finished painting the hen house "Fairytale Pink". I have 6 chicks,an adopted rabbit,2 beautiful Paint horses and one extremely spoiled poodle...who now sports a pink "John Deere" collar.
Thank you for bringing this beautiful magazine into fruition. love it!
