BACK HOME FOR A LITTLE WHILE

HELLO my friends

It's been so long since I last posted but between finishing the cookbook in November, beginning to put together the new magazine in December and shooting 11 homes in January and February..well...you know! Honestly, though I do get up everyday (yes, including Saturdays and Sundays)between 4.30 and 5.00 AM and work until at least 10PM I still don't get everything done. Then there is travel, shoots... One day, I will learn to kick back a bit...maybe, perhaps, possibly,unlikely....who knows!

Meanwhile, the magazine is coming along beautifully and is ALMOST done. Another week or so and it will be off to the printer then on newsstands around mid-March. I am still working on the companion website but have not found time to add to it. But keep checking as we will have a great giveaway to coincide with the premier issue. I would be most grateful if you would put this banner on your blog or you can put the blog button located on the right sidebar. Thanks!!

ROMANTIC PRAIRIE STYLE

In late January, Mark Lohman (my favorite photographer)flew to FL from L.A and we shot 7 homes. Then, right after, we took off for Michigan to shoot 4 more. We went there to shoot for the winter issue but there was NO snow! Bummer!! So, we shot all the interiors and we have to fly back to do the exteriors as soon as there is about 2 feet of snow. Here is a little peek at the Florida homes. The styles are varied as we shot for various magazines (not just for Romantic Prairie Style).

I know it's just a tease but all these homes will be showing up in magazines this year so I can't post more photos. Sorry.

OK, that's it for now. Sometime this weekend I will post photos of the Michigan shoots and updates on

So nice to be back home and in touch again! In spite of all that's happening, I often feel like I am working in a vacuum and miss being in touch and getting your lovely emails and comments!!
