THIS SIDE OF PARADISE....................................
WOULDN'T IT BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO TAKE A WHOLE DAY OFF AND LINGER IN THE GARDEN? FOR MOST OF US IT IS BUT A DREAM, ESPECIALLY FOR YOU, POOR BABIES, STILL SNOWBOUND. I WENT OUT EARLY THIS MORNING TO SNAP A FEW PHOTOS TO SEND YOU A "LITTLE GARDEN FOR YOUR MIND" TO HELP YOU WAIT FOR YOUR OWN TO BLOOM AGAIN.
IN VIEW OF THE STILL UNRESOLVED "RATTLE SNAKE ISSUE", I HAD TO FIRST PUT ON MY BOOTS...HMMM...AQUA OR PINK??? DECIDED ON THE PINK PAIR ...................
.......THE TICOMANTHE VINE IS WRAPPING ITSELF AROUND ANYHTING IT CAN FIND INCLUDING UNDER THE CABANA OVERHANG...................................
.........................AND THE JASMINE KEEPS SPREADING.................................
....THE SIDE DOOR AND THE FRONT FENCE ARE ALSO COMING INTO THEIR OWN.....
THIS HUGE ROSE BUSH, IN THE BACKYARD, IS BURSTING WITH CLUSTERS OF TINY ROSES THAT LOOK LIKE CHERRY BLOSSOMS AND ARE HIGHLY FRAGRANT................
....AND THE DOUBLE IMPATIENCES LOOK LIKE ROSES
I KNOW IT'S WAS A QUICK TOUR BUT IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO GET BACK IN THE HOUSE AND GET TO WORK......................................BUT I WILL DO IT AGAIN, SOON.
**********************************************************
I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I FOUND A SET OF 4 GLASSES AT ROSS. OF COURSE I HAD TO HAVE THEM.................LOOK AT THE CROWN ................AND THE SET WAS ONLY $7.99....
............pretty and practical. Perfect for indulging your "inner queen" .................
Lastly, a friend gave me this sweet little lamb............................................
...........the kitties have adopted him (her?).............................................
I still have a lot of emails to answer....just be patient.....I will get around to them, soon.....RIGHT NOW I AM SWAMPED!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO FIFI

Thank you Fifi for the great garden pics! I sooooo need to see some sunny pictures and yours are divine! Here in my part of the Netherlands it just started to rain again. The only upside of this is that I have an exam tomorrow morning so maybe it's a good thing not being able to do some gardening!
Now if I could only remove myself from the computer haha...
Have a fun day today!

Hi Fifi,
Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to post these great pictures. I love lush, fragrant cottage gardens, so it's always a treat when you post pictures of yours.
Love the staturary and all the special details. Oh...LOVE those boots, too.

Thanks for sharing! Alas, here in Montana we won't see anything like that until mid July (and actually never because most of those plants don't grow here!). It's beautiful!

Oh, I vote for the pink boots. :)
Thanks for the lovely garden pictures! We have a few tulips and hiacynths, but its still a little chilly in Ohio. So, we'll have to wait a bit to play in the dirt.

Hi Fifi!
Just beautiful, love the boots - be careful, girl!
The vines are so pretty and those glasses are so you. You find the best things - those crowns so Fifiesque!
...And I have to say, I love the concrete cherub (I think that's what it is...) in your garden. Just dreamy at your cottage.

Fifi, a tour of your fabulous garden is just what I needed! It has been so cold the last couple of days, barely 50, and tonight in the 30's, was dark and gloomy and rained today!! :( The boots are charming both colors!! Hope they keep the rattlesnake away! Your Ticomanthe vine is glorious, as is the jasmine! Great photos~love the starfish, & the mermaid plaque! And the roses! :D Beautiful glasses fit for a Queen! And even Cinderella could afford them!:) Love the shot of the kitties & their new best friend! And the garden cherub is fantastic! Thanks for another wonderful garden tour! :)
Have a great week! Don't work too hard!

Fifi, not only will those boots protect you from the snake but also the nasty fire ants. I swear I have to wear combat boots when I garden. Your garden is beatiful.

Fifi, that "TICOMANTHE VINE" is to die for! It probably wouldn't do well here in Canada though. :(
p.s. those glasses are so you!
