..................I was minding my own business, happily going along with work and enjoying pretty Christmas things when a mean letter from THE GRINCH, in this case someone attempting to use my work without my permission......suffice to say it made Good Fifi VERY VERY sad and .....frustrated. So, Good Fifi did was she does when things are bothering her and she does not want to take it out on friends, kitties or even strangers: she called BAD FIFI to the rescue and let her do what she always does when things bother her: 1) CLEAN THE HOUSE from top to bottom, 2) REPAINT something (in this case the living room floor from black to white), 3) GET THE LADDER AND THE CHAINSAW and trim the trees! ALL DONE! Now Good Fifi got THE GRINCH out of her system and can deal with the matter in a civilized fashion.................................................................................................

Fortunately, today was much nicer. The mailman delivered more lovely presents. My sweet friend Sue (who does not have a blog) sent a wonderful assortment of clocks faces, a beautiful pair of vintage earrings and a gorgeous card with a crown....................................
THANK YOU SWEET SUE. I HOPE YOUR CHRISTMAS IS LOVELY!......................................
*********************************************************************
The other treasures came from the very giving JANET......................LOOK...................at the lovely linen towel with the embroidered "F" and the delicate fabric with 'Bonne Annee" (Happy New Year), the glass ornament is mirrored and the coquelicot (poppy) patch is just the best!
The little sachet is filled with a heady cinnamon fragrance.............................................
THANK YOU JANET. It's so very thoughtful and very much appreciated. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
**********************************************************************
So, beside cleaning the house, trimming the trees, and repainting the living room floor, I also got around to do the cup design I have wanted to do for months on the pantry doors. They are made with a stencil I had ordered from THE STENCIL LIBRARY
I am going to write something on the upper left panel I left blank..........................not sure what yet...............................................................................................................
*********************************************************************
I am still playing around with the wire "thingy." It's now on the coffee table and I have hung some of the ornaments from it......it's starting to take shape......................................
*********************************************************************
Tomorrow is another day...I will get back to work and also take photos of the living room new look..................................................................................................
BONNE NUIT

Hi Fifi, such lovelies you have received... I read about you wanting to do that cup stencil project and looked forward to see how it goes...it is looking very pretty now and I'm sure will look even more so when you add the scripting... You are so good at these things and such a good way to focus your sadness into something positive like sprucing up your home. We have to sometimes pity those who make us sad or upset and see the better light in it all.Look at it this way whatever you share or inspire others with will always multifold and be returned to you in more ways than you'd know...
Cheers,
Adla

Oh that naughty person taking your work! How frustrating it is when people take things you worked so hard for. I like the sound of Bad Fifi!!! Want to send her over here to cut down a few trees and perhaps mow the lawn or should I say, weeds?!
Loving the beauties you received in the mail, and the pantry stencil is so cute! As is the wire basket thingy! xo

Oh lala ..How unjust..~
I wonder what you do then?
That's awful..
I am glad that your friends are sending you tokens of affection~And appreciations.. It makes you see the right in the world instead of the plagiarists:(
Wear the earrings.. while you finish your works of art:) and one of your pretty white tops..
I know you have your heels on while stenciling:) The cups are worthy of them:)
I am sure your mind is spinning w/ the clock faces..
I am reminded of Alice in Wonderland~
I don't know what you had to clean..everything was shiny and spotless..and warm and cozy when we sat in your home:)
I get like that too though I must admit..
I find that particularly at Christmas..although things look pretty..there is MORE around..and it's a bit overwhelming:)
Then when it's all gone..It's tout nu!
Have a wonderful day being creative as always.
I am on duty for the last time this morning for 2007:)

I guess some people don't realize that as writers/copywriters, this is our 'art' and should not be used without permission. Glad you let Bad Fifi handle it all. ;)
Love the stencils - they look like big steaming cups of "Cafe au Lait". Yum!

Fifi,
I'm so sorry to hear someone is messing with you. It is unfortunate that people feel they can take someone's ideas and hard work and pass it off as their own. Wow - I wish I had such motivation when I get mad! I just sulk, watch TV, and eat chocolate! Hope you are feeling better!

So sorry about your Grinchy Scrooge! I wish all people would be as considerate as everyone I've become acquainted with here. You foster so much goodwill my dear friend, it's hard to believe someone could even TRY to take advantage of you. Your goodies are scrumptious, and I can't wait to see what you create with the clock faces! =o] xoxo

How DARE someone try to do that to you!!!! Bad Fifi knows how to get in to work mode, doesn't she!?
You sure are getting the wonderful parcels my friend...it's because of what you radiate to the Universe and it comes back to you in kind!
I love the cup stencil - especially in black against the white! What WILL you write on that upper square?
Can't wait to see your recent changes.
Sending you big hugs with a sprinkling of glitter,
Lisa

Fifi - to the Grinch who tried to steal your Work, I hope they get a lump of coal in their stocking this year. We all know and love our Original Fifi! You are simply the best, dearest.
Now, tell Bad Fifi to put that Grinch where the sun doesn't shine, and may the Good Fifi have a very Merry Christmas!
xoxo hugs sweet friend, Sherri

Dearest Fifi
Remember, what goes around, comes around. And, that doesn't mean the Grinch will get a clean house. It means the devil will get his/due in the end. Keep Smiling(because frowns leave more wrinkles!)

I'm sorry to hear about your trouble with the Grinch, but unfortunately, it's a very common problem and has happened to several of my friends too.

Goodness! How terrible of someone, trying to steal your work! Your pantry doors look great with the cup stencil!

Is someone messing with my girl? Don't sweat it for a minute, your band of blog buddies have your back. How unprofessional this person is? I'm sure they will not mess with Fifi again (especially Bad Fifi!)
Babette is right, what comes around goes around. Sleep tight sweet friend!~xo

Hello Fifi, Did you ever find out where to get the plastic/lucite candelabras like the ones found in Forever 21? I am looking for them too. Can you advise me?
