In fact, I have been so focused on the work at hand that when UPS showed up at my door with a large package, yesterday, I had completely forgotten about this "chandelier" I had ordered on line sometime back..........nice to get little surprises or, in this case it's a rather large one.....In case you are interested, it came from URBAN OUTFITTERS and it's under $40! It can be fitted with a light bulb but I prefer to keep it as it is. Love the design. it's made of a light wood painted white. Comes in two pieces. Very easy to assemble. Took me 5 minutes. AND that was my one and only non-work related treat this week. I hung it late last night. Somehow I have managed to rationalize that I must "reward" myself for being a Good Fifi! Right?

I also got the pretty blue "Fifi" tussie mussie and tag wrapped in trimmings I had ordered from Sugar Sugar......

JUST A FEW NOTES

OK, I am not kidding......

                              

I did say "Just a few notes!" What did you expect?...............................

I will TRY to catch up this weekend but it's going to be tough. I am really swamped with work and CANNOT miss my deadlines.

Be nice, wait for me. In the immortal words of Arnold "I'LL BE BACK!"

...........so, I let her enjoy a little play time with the kitties who don't really know what to make of her. Lily is scared of her (she runs away when she sees her!).......Lucy likes her a lot........Daisy is still undecided........

Keeping in mind that all these are have to be turned in no later than October 15........no doubt you understand why I have to be very firm with BAD FIFI.......

I almost forgot! Today my new pink shoes (Urban Outfitters) arrived! First pair of flats I have bought in over 20 years but I like them so much I might wear them to bed.....

                                         

They are not sparkly but they have satin ribbons......very girly-girl............

It was very nice talking with you tonight but it's time to say "Bonne Nuit et Doux Reves" (Good Night, Sweet Dreams." )

                                 

NOT YET!

Had to take EXTREME measures to keep Bad Fifi from trying to talk Good Fifi into letting her come out to play.

First, I thought, if I let her out of her cage maybe it would shut her up. But she just wouldn't keep quiet. So I let her stay out but had to tape her mouth shut....but she kept jumping up and down and I had to tie her up...........................................................................

                                 

When that didn't seem to be enough, Good Fifi even sat on her to keep her from running around in my head..................

                             

............................in the end I had to put her back in her cage!!!!........................

                              

................but, notice that she is resting on a bed of rose petals in a silver bowl!.....Not so shabby for  the pest she is.............

Ah, if only she was as quiet as Lucy..........................

            

................who is happy as long as she can sleep on whateber I am working on..............

Speaking of cats, did you there is a full moon (The Jellicle Moon) tonight? And do you know about the Jellicle Cats?
